Respite for Caregivers. Engagement for Loved Ones.

A Place Like Home offers respite for the 24/7 caregiver, providing them with a much-needed break. At the same time, we create a welcoming environment for their loved ones, where they can engage in meaningful activities and socialize with peers, helping to prevent a premature nursing home placement.

Peer & Community Engagement for Participants

A Place Like Home offers peace of mind for the caregivers with family members who are experiencing dementia and other types of brain change. It is a place where these individuals can engage in activities and socialize with peers. APLH seeks to prevent a premature nursing home placement by affording the caregiver the opportunity to regroup, recharge, and refresh while caring for their loved ones.
