Bea’s concern for senior citizens is genuine and personal. Her mother has lived with her husband and children for many years. This has opened her eyes to the limited community services available to senior citizens, particularly for social interaction with other seniors. She brings that passion to her participation on A Place Like Home board. After a career in the legal field (as an attorney in the state of New Mexico then as a paralegal in the state of Colorado), Bea operates Strong Revisions & Writing. Through this business, she provides writing and editing services for individuals and businesses. Additionally, she operates Trámites Transactions, a business that provides Spanish speaking individuals assistance with their English language documents and transactions. Her education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration with minor in Marketing and Management from New Mexico State University, and a law degree (Juris Doctor) from the University of New Mexico School of Law.
